Overnight Sensation

“If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time.”

Steve Jobs

Good Monday morning: I am here with a quick reminder to RESIST looking at the finished version of someone’s career and ENVYING their achievement.

More often than not, those who succeed have put in years of work, experienced more losses than wins, and were even forced to start over at some point.

Instead, you will be well served by defining success on your own terms, identifying your own specific goals and running your own race. It might take a while to get your “win” but, at least, the reward will be yours to own.

Don’t get distracted - keep your eyes on your own paper- and keep going.

You are doing just fine.
